Who we are
Apple Diagnostics (“we”, “us”) is a diagnostic laboratory at Beside Canara Bank, Lawyers Street, Kothapeta, Vinukonda, Andhra Pradesh, 522647. We decide why and how your personal data is used on this website and at our centre, and we are responsible for it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Your name, mobile number, age, gender, email and address, and those of family members you book for.
- Prescriptions you upload, the tests you book, your samples and your test results and reports.
- Booking, billing and payment details (we do not see or store card or bank passwords).
- Basic technical data such as your IP address and the time of a request, to keep the website secure.
Why we use it
- To book your tests, collect your sample at home or at the centre, run the tests and give you your report.
- To contact you about your booking, your sample or your results, including urgent results.
- For billing, receipts and dues.
- To meet our legal, medical-record and quality obligations, and to keep the website and your data safe.
We do not sell your data and we do not use your health data for advertising.
Your consent
We use your data with your consent, which you give when you sign in, book or upload a prescription. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account or by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before, or records we must keep by law.
Who we share it with
- The doctor or hospital you name as referring you, so they can see your report.
- A reference laboratory, only when a test you booked is sent out to be done there.
- Service providers who run this website for us under contract: Cloudflare (hosting and storage) and Google Firebase (sending the sign-in OTP by SMS).
- Government authorities, when the law requires it (for example, notifiable diseases).
Keeping it safe
Your data is stored with our hosting provider and sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Only our staff who need it for your care can see it, and every change is logged. Report links and QR codes open your report without a password, so share them only with people you trust.
How long we keep it
Medical records (bills, results and reports) are kept for as long as medical-record rules and other laws require. Your website account, family list and saved addresses are deleted when you delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or updated, have it erased where the law allows, nominate a person to act for you, and raise a grievance. You can download your account data and delete your account yourself under My account → Profile.
Children
Tests for children are booked by a parent or guardian, who gives consent for them.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. Your cart is kept in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Grievances and contact
For any question, request or complaint about your data, email applediagnosticscenter@gmail.com or call 94949 41205, or write to Apple Diagnostics, Beside Canara Bank, Lawyers Street, Kothapeta, Vinukonda, Andhra Pradesh, 522647. We will reply as soon as we can and within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update it here with a new effective date.
